    Black widow

Wednesday, May 2, 2007, 09:53 PM CST [General]

I recently bought a blackwidow and I'm having some trouble getting use to it.  Does anyone have any tips that might help me out? I'd really appreciate it.

    That ball hooks alot.
I imagine that you will have to move you feet left from you "normal" starting spot.
You also may have to have it shined up a little bit. All the ones I have drilled up for customers have also had surface adjusted - shined up. See your pro shop person!
    Have a great day!

It really depends on what ball you threw before, the drilling pattern, Ball speed, weight of ball, ect...

Is there anyone that bowls at your house who you concider to be a above average or great bowler? I would tend to talk to these people and see if they have some time to help you out. Without a video or seeing you bowl it would be very hard for someone to actually help you out very much.

I hope you get it worked out. Keep us updated. Sorry I couldn't help you out any more than that.

I've drilled several and have noticed they are very aggressive.
Did the pro that drilled it drill other balls for you in the past and was he familiar with your game?
Pin and BOM position is critical with that ball as it is very aggressive.
